Our investment in the future of Alpha Nu will ensure the success of our Chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater brotherhood. The undergraduate men have made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many Sigma Chis over the years. Together with our active members, the volunteer leadership of the House Corporation is committed to this major undertaking, which will allow us to renovate and expand our facilities and compete with other fraternities and housing options in Austin.
We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the comfort and brotherhood Alpha Nu provided during our years at UT and after we left campus. Now it is our turn to repay the Fraternity, ensuring that the same, wonderful experience is available to others.

The Alpha Nu Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity and The University of Texas share a storied tradition dating back to 1884 with the initiation of Rogers Whaley, Atwell J. Clopton, William T. Levy, and George S. Berry.
From our founding to the present, our proud history speaks for itself through high academic achievement and leadership within the university. With more than 2,500 initiates, the Alpha Nu Chapter has influenced the lives of numerous men, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. Many of our best college memories can be traced back to our Sigma Chi experience.
While many of our alumni have gone on to successful and distinguished careers in business, engineering, technology, and countless other endeavors, the common bond of our brotherhood remains, along with our shared principles and values. Most of us can trace the roots of our success to one place: Sigma Chi.
Through Alpha Nu we not only learned the importance of friendship, justice and learning, but we acquired valuable assets, which include leadership skills, organizational skills, social skills, teamwork, and character. Oftentimes, these traits have been integral to our personal success and helped make us the men we are today.
Our Chapter House at 2701 Nueces Street is clearly the focus of undergraduate life for Sigma Chi. It has been a home away from home for hundreds of young men and a classroom where our brothers have been committed to the betterment of character, campus, and community. However, if we wish for Alpha Nu to continue its strong presence on the UT campus, we must ensure that we are providing a safe, modern, and competitive facility. Now is the time to secure our future.
